We are excited to announce new billing features to put more control in Finance’s hands. MonetizeNow automates your billing - but we know that Finance teams may want to override on a case-by-case basis. For example, the way a Credit was applied and/or Refund an inadvertent duplicate Payment made by a customer. We’re happy to put that customization power in Finance’s hands!
⭐ New features
MonetizeNow automatically applies Payments, Credits, and Credit Notes to Invoices. But Finance may want to override that on a case-by-case basis. For example, after a Credit and Rebill or to move a Payment between Invoices.
Why Finance loves it: Complete control over Application / Application of Credits, Credit Notes, and Payments to Invoices to meet your business objectives! And yes, this is automatically synced to your connected Accounting system and history of application changes is transparently reportable in MonetizeNow.

Return funds paid by your customer due to overpayment or credit issuance.
Why Finance loves it: No more need to make manual adjustments to refund inadvertent overpayment. With the single click in MonetizeNow, funds flow back to your customer via your connected payment gateway, MonetizeNow no longer allows those funds to be applied to an Invoice, and it is recorded in your connected Accounting system.

While MonetizeNow can automate everything for you, you may want more control, especially for larger customers where an address requiring update, missing PO number, or incorrect usage metering could hurt the relationship.
Why Finance loves it: When a payment comes in, commonly a wire transfer, with a fee deducted, it is both a waste of your time and can provide a poor customer experience to chase your customers for the remaining $20. Avoid this by issuing and applying Credits against impacted Invoices all in one action.
