Today, we want to take a few moments to introduce you to Risalat Zaman. Risalat is an extraordinarily talented Backend Engineer that we have been lucky enough to work with the last few months. Even in such a brief period of time, Risalat has made monumental advancements to the MonetizeNow platform.
What brought you to MonetizeNow?
“As an engineer I always want to work on products that have real life impact. In short, in a product that would make people’s lives easier. The CPQ and Billing product fits the criteria perfectly.
From my perspective, MonetizeNow has a promising product with real life impact and lots of technical challenges. It is the perfect place for someone like me.
After numerous interviews with members from the team, my thoughts were solidified further. The great team that we have is an added bonus along with the exciting product.”
What excites you about the future of technology?
“I am excited about how the usage of AI will pan out in projections regarding customer spending habits.”
What’s a fun fact about you that not many people know?
“I am only the second person I know who has read both Stephen King’s IT (1138 pages) and Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace (1596 pages).”
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Always try to understand the other person’s perspective before speaking.”
What tools or apps do you find indispensable for your work?
“Intellij Idea IDE, oh my zsh”
What’s the last book you read, or movie you watched that you really enjoyed?
“The last book I read was My Name is Red by Orhan Pamuk, and the last movie I watched was The Green Book.”
